  • Do you accept insurance?

    Healing Awaits is an out-of-network provider and does not participate with commercial insurance plans. We are in network with Maryland Medicaid

    What does out-of-network mean? As an out-of-network provider, we do not bill insurance directly. Clients pay for services at the time of the session.

  • Can I use my insurance benefits?

    Many insurance plans offer out-of-network mental health benefits. If you have these benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement for a portion of therapy costs.

  • Will you provide documentation for reimbursement?

    Yes. I provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

  • How do I find out if I have out-of-network benefits?

    Call the member services number on your insurance card and ask:

    • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

    • What is my deductible?

    • What percentage of services are reimbursed?

    • Are telehealth services covered?

  • What states can services be provided in?

    All interested clients have to reside in Maryland due to regulatory limitations set by insurance providers and licensing boards. We are currently in the process of being able to serve clients in New Jersey and will update this website.

  • How do I get in contact immediately?

    In case of an emergency, emergency services should be utilized such as 911, going to the nearest hospital, or utilizing crises supports such as 988 or grassroots hotline (211).
